Amazon S3 objects corrupting and getting 0kb size
-
Hi guys,
My company has a website running wordpress on Amazon’s infrastructure.
Recently we started having an issue where our S3 objects (images) reduce their size from their regular, to ZERO bytes.
I checked S3 versions history and saw that the images were really changed by something in my application (below is the link to the S3 versions example).
The image uploading process happens through only wordpress (no third-party plugins), and wordpress does its resize. After that, a plugin called “W3 total cache”, uploads all the image sizes to S3 and starts using the cloudfront’s URL to make references to the images.
The application doesn’t have any command to edit images. It just shows them.
Does anyone already faced something like it? Can it be on WordPress? Or W3 Total Cache is corrupting it?

That site is not hosted by wordpress.com and our support doc do not apply to it. We do not provide support for it. You are posting to the wrong support forum to get help with that site.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
