Amazon widget for my book, and lost page.

The purpose of my blog is to support the books I write. The only one that is available for purchase right now is an ebook. I signed up for Amazon Associates so that I may provide a custom link for it. However, even though I purchased a premium theme and the customization feature I cannot figure out how/where to put it. I have tried everything and it won’t pull up.

Also, I added a “where to buy” page and listed it under the “Books” page, but it is not showing up. I thought I had followed the steps on how to do that, but apparently I missed something.

Any suggestions you have would help. Thanks.

    Thanks.

  • Hi there – It’s likely that the link you are trying to use contains code that isn’t permitted by our system and gets stripped out:
    Code

You can use any link or widget consisting of only plain HTML, and you can also use a text or image widget to upload your own image and link it to your Amazon site:
    Text Widget
    Image Widget

For your where to buy page, you just needed to add it to your custom menu:
    https://carlydrakedotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

I added it as a sub-menu under books so you could see what that looks like.

Let me know if that works for you, or if you have further questions!
