  My website is already owned by me and is hosted by WordPress. Why is it suspended and what do I need to do to get it back online?

  Hi there:

  I think there’s some confusion here. There are three different “WordPress” at play here:

  1. The free, open-source WordPress software which powers your website.
  2. WordPress.org which is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software and where you can get the software for free to use on your own hosting provider.
  3. WordPress.com which is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software and with whom you’re contacting now.

  Your site has not been hosted here at WordPress.com, so we’re limited to what we can help with – but I can get you pointed in the right direction.

  Your domain nameservers are set to “Website Welcome” nameservers – that is likely the company hosting your website. You would need to reach out to their support for help. Since they used to host your site, they’re also the ones who can best help you get your site back online.
