amounts are showing different currency

    Hi, I am an USA citizen staying in Turkey at the moment while I am here I want to open a wordpress Bussiness site. All the currency showing Turkish Liras but I am going to use my US account to pay the fees is this going to creat a problem? Also I would like to have PayPal on my website but Turkey is not allowed PayPal account because where I am right now will effect the bill a website vs I will be in USA

    Hi Senay,

    I’ve updated your account currency to USD.

    Our billing settings have nothing to do with whether or not you can use PayPal on your site, though. If you have a valid PayPal account you should be able to set up a payments button on your site regardless of the currency set on your WordPress.com account.

    I don’t know if PayPal enforces any sort of geolocation blocking based on your IP address, though. But that’s also something we have no control over.
