An active access token must be used to accept an invite.

The person who developed our blog sent me an invite to become an administrator and when I click on ‘Accept Invitation,’ I get this error message. When I ask for WordPress to resend a verification email it says ‘That method is not allowed.’ I’ve cleared cache, tried two different browsers and even asked him to add me with a different email address and am having the same results.

@jposti200 What browser are you using, and it is it up to date? What version of Windows are you using? Does this happen in another browser?
And just to confirm, you did get this note, correct?
Great, third party cookies are properly enabled in your browser!

Yesterday, I was able to activate my account using my iPhone and posted a couple of test entries. Today, back on my desktop, using both Chrome and Explorer, I’m able to log in but only see a gray box where the name of my blog should be and am unable to post. I’ve cleared cache and am up-to-date on versions.

@jposti200 typically we see this if your browser security settings or a security tool is blocking cookies, JavaScript, or both.
In Chrome, if you right-click and choose to Inspect Element, you should see a console with any errors. Do you have that?
