An Ad appears on my blog though I disabled them

Hello – I bought the No Ads option early this year. I am running three blogs in the same account. This morning I found an ad on one of my Aquariel blog posts, which is strange because I shouldnt see it at all! Also, it shouldn’t be there? I understand the option covers all the blogs in my account? When I went to the store, it said I am Ad free, so it is not possible to purchase any more cover. Please help! Thank you very much.

Did you buy it for each blog? If you want to be add free on three blogs you need to buy three no ad options.

Thank you Mike. I thought it should be for each blog separately, but couldnt find the link, so it looked as if it covered all 3. I have now at last found the link and bought it.

PS it is odd that I could see the ad here, …?? but a good thing, because it showed up the issue.

Thank you! I just took a look at timethief’s article. Seems unlikely as I mostly go online for blogging wp only – no games, and very rarely a bit of shopping.
The ad appeared at the bottom of the post, where they usually go, it was a travel ad, with the wp link above it. It was as if I was visiting it from outside, because there was no toolbar. I had been to-ing and fro-ing a bit between posts.
I have now paid for no ads there, so it has gone … but it was odd that it was visible.

If and only if, the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts and provided you see this small About These Ads link then what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising.
If you disable all browser add-ons and then log in ans see No-Ads you have the cause.
After you have done that disabling of all browser-addons, toolbars and the like (I did not include an exhaustive list in my post), and there is still advertising then post screenshot, upload it to your Media Library, and return to this thread to provide the file name so Staff can examine it.
