an edit button appears to readers

    The edit button shows to readers on my blog, at the top. Please advise. My blog is comingaliveblog.wordpress.com

    Steps: a friend shared my most recent blog on her FB page: “How a Job Search Club Shortens Your Job Search: Part 1” I clicked the title, and landed on my blog. The edit button appears beneath the tag words. This should not be there.

    Hi there,

    When you’re logged in to your WordPress.com account, you’ll always see an “Edit” link on your posts. That’s only visible to you (or other people you invite to become administrators or editors on your site), to make it easy to edit that page if you’d like. Anyone else viewing the page won’t see that link.
