An Email Query

Hi there I wanted to ask a question about the domain with WordPress. The question is that when I get a domain with WordPress, on the Personal subscription do I get a personal email with the domain. Please if yes can the email access be managed by more than one user?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, with a domain on WordPress.com, you get access to email forwarding. You may be able to configure multiple people owning an account with the provider who you redirect the email to, but I’m not exactly certain which one offers such a feature so I’m hesitant to answer about that.

You can learn more here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/

(I’ve tagged staff as this is related to domains)

    Hope this helps!

  • Hi there,

Just to add a bit to the answer above, we only offer email forwarding – an address at your domain that forwards to your regular email account at Gmail, or wherever. You can create up to five such forwarding addresses.

If you want a fully functional inbox @yourdomain, you need to get email hosting instead. You can buy email hosting for G Suite (the old Gmail for Business) directly from us, or you can use other services like Office365, Zoho, or a host of others. More info here:

Thanks for tagging, though it wasn’t really necessary in this case. With general information questions, if you know the answer you can just go ahead and reply without tagging. We only ask that you always tag in cases relating to domain renewals/expired domains as those often require quick intervention to ensure a domain doesn’t enter redemption or is lost by accident, and domain transfers, as the public data on a domain that’s in process of being transferred is not always accurate due to different systems updating at different times in the process.
