An error occured while trying to send the Domain Transfer code.

  I am trying to transfer my domain chocoyo.org however when I try to get my transfer code from dashboard I get the following error. Additionally, the new registrar I will use says that my domain is locked and registered with Wild West Domains, however I have always gone through the wordpress.com site.

  This is the error I get when trying to get my transfer code:

  “An error occured while trying to send the Domain Transfer code. Please try again or Contact Support if you continue to have trouble.”

  Please let me know how to proceed.

  In order to get a transfer code, you first need to check the “disable domain lock” box. Did you do that before you clicked the “Request Transfer Code” button?

  We partner with Wild West Domains on domain registration, so that’s why your new registrar sees them as your current registrar.

  If checking the box and then clicking the button doesn’t work, let me know and I’ll be happy to help you get the domain unlocked.
