an error occurred in the upload of an image

  Today I started facing a problem during upload of image in wordpress 5.3.1.

  When i upload an image it fails with an error “an error occurred in the upload of an image.Please try again later”

  Please let me know if some one else also faced this issue.
  I tried removing some of the plugins but still the problem exists.

  Any help is appreciated.
