An image hidden behind an image
-
Hello,
I am sorry if this question has been asked before, I searched but couldn’t find it.
What I want to do is to have a layered photo with the top layer being a fig tree, for instance, and then add a different coloured leaf. Then by clicking on the added leaf a Impressionist paint is revealed.
Can it be done?
Thank you
P.S. I am quite useless at computers. If someone knows how to do it please please explain very clearly. Thank you!

I’m sorry to tell you that this requires technologies not available to wordpress.com users.

Oh, thanks.
What about a hidden link under the image? Is that possible?
I’ve seen people who hide texts behind the images.

Not on WordPress.com.
What you can do is make the image a link to some other webspace or just an image file you’ve uploaded. That’s easy enough; get the URL of the image you want to link to, go to Edit your post, click on the image you’re making into the link, select the link icon, put the URL of the image you want to pop up in there, set it to open in a new window, and save.

Thank you very much, I’ll try it.
But it doesn’t sound easy to me. Quite the contrary.
I’ll learn… though I hope it does not take too long to learn.
Thanks, again

It’s easy, there are just a lot of steps. It’s just like making text a link, only you select the image instead of the text.
