An unknown blog adding to my WordPress.com account
-
Hi there,
I just logged into my WordPress.com account and saw an unknown blog in the My Blogs list. Could this be a hacking incident? I’m a bit panicky as this has never happened before.
Please take a look ASAP and remove it from my account along with this domain: ardentletters.com. The latter keeps coming back no matter how many times I’ve requested it to be removed from my account.
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Staff can do this removal for you. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond. -

I’m not sure what you mean. Could you explain further? I didn’t log in to WordPress.com for weeks, so it couldn’t have been me who added the URL.

When a person transfers a blog to another account, it is possible to send the blog to the wrong account if they make a spelling error. It’s not a hack, your account is not at risk, it there were other users on the blog they can’t get to any of your other blogs.
Please just leave the blog as is, don’t do anything to it, the staff can return it to it’s proper owner. It happens once in awhile.

Many thanks auxclass for the clarification. I’ll wait for WP staff to handle the situation.

Hiya @stefgonzaga,
Before I take any action, I wanted to verify that the blog which wasn’t yours is itphilippines.net? Let me know and I’ll take care of it!
Thanks!

Hi @stefgonzaga,
I’ve gone ahead and removed your user from both of those blogs. As long as neither you nor anyone who has the login credentials for your account re-activates the Jetpack connection, they should stay out of your My Blogs list!
