  Hello, I am totally new to WordPress. Some days ago I registered for a blog “anapato.wordpress.com” and decided to buy the domain and the redirection to WordPress. Somewhere in the process I must have done something wrong, because althought I have the “anapato.com” it redirects to “anapatodotcom.wordpress.com”. And if I try to get “anapato.wordpress.com” it appears reserved”.

  How can I get the “anapato.wordpress.com” and be it the target of “anapato.com”?

  Hi there,

  That URL is not available, because there’s a user account with the anapato username, and we save URLs matching usernames for those users.

  It does not matter what your underlying URL is, since you have a custom domain, but if you want to change it from anapatodotcom.wordpress.com to something that is available, such as anapatoblog.wordpress.com, you can do that by following these directions:
