Anchor episode converting to wordpress
-
Hello, I imported all my anchor episodes in a new wordpress blog.
I just uploaded a new episode on Anchor.
It is not showing up on the wordpress.com blog
I thought this was done automatically. When I created the blog they all appeared as they should.
Is there something I need to do so that each new anchor episode appears on my wordpress.com blog?
Or does it simply take some time, say, 24 hours for the transfer to be completed?
Thank youThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @alexandrafol, we have a feature that converts a WordPress.com post to an Anchor podcast. Is that what you’re trying to do, or are you trying to transcribe a podcast into a post?
If you’re wanting to go use the current tool to create a podcast from a post, did you already have an anchor account? We don’t have a way to connect existing accounts yet, so you’d want to create a new one with the steps here:

Just noting one of my colleagues found this too, re: transcribing your segments if that’s what you’re hoping for.
https://help.anchor.fm/hc/en-us/articles/115001185652-Creating-transcribed-videos-of-your-segmentsThis wouldn’t automatically create a blog post, but you could use that to start a post as you like!

Hello, I apologize, my English seems insufficient.
I have an anchor account: http://www.anchor.fm/alexandrafol
I linked it to a new wordpress account, http://www.topicalreflectionsonmusic.wordpress.comAll my existing episodes were automatically converted.
I just put another episode out. I waited a bit and then went to check the http://www.topicalreflectionsonmusic.wordpress.com site. The new episode had not appeared there. Is there something special I need to do? No, I am not trying to transcribe segments.

Hi there – We may have misunderstood you originally. Sorry about that. I’ve drawn some information from our support guide here on Podcasting > Anchor
https://wordpress.com/support/audio/podcasting/#create-a-site-from-your-anchor-podcast
If you already have a podcast and want to create a website from your existing content, you can create a free WordPress.com website with a podcast-focused theme.
You’ve completed that part, and that worked well for you.
Each time you publish a new podcast episode you will be prompted to post it to WordPress and the podcast details will be added to a new WordPress blog post.
It sounds like you have published a new podcast. While publishing, the instructions indicate you should see a prompt to post to your WordPress.com site. Do you recall seeing this prompt?
-
Hello, no, I did not. I might have missed it, or it might have been a bug.
Is there a way to fix this and add the episode manually, or to force the prompt to reappear? -

This should show up as a little badge in your episode list on Anchor, offering you to import it.
It might take a little bit of time to show up though, keep checking regularly.
