Anchor Podcast Link

  I created a blog post and imported it into Anchor as I usually do. When the blog post published on Anchor I did not get the pop up box that asks if I want to go back to WordPress to update the blog post with the Anchor logo/link. How do I fix this and get the Anchor logo/link onto this blog post?

  Just to correct something, it is the Listen on Spotify logo that gets added to the blog post that is missing.

  Hello there,

  I’ve taken a look at the latest post along with previous posts and it looks like the badge is an image that’s been added to the post.

  This image would need to be added to the post.

  In HTML form, this would be:

  Hi,
  Since the code in your previous posts links to the show (rather than the episode), you can paste aleone89’s snippet as-is.

  If you want to link directly to the episode, you can replace the URL inside the href attribute.
  So instead of
  <a href="https://open.spotify.com/show/1hXoKFi6Fx5eNo6ry5A69X">
  You would write
  <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/4EEKRYLu3uBMLewuW4p7m2">

  I tried to put the HTML code in, but it did not convert it to an image when I previewed. Not sure I am doing it right. I copied it and put it into the custom html block.

  Still did not convert to the button. I posted a another podcast and again it did not take me back to WordPress to update so something is wrong with the connection between Anchor/Spotify and WordPress. I took a different route and copied the Podcast link and created a button on by blog posts in WordPress to add the Podcast link. Not the official Spotify one but at least there is a link to the Podcast.

  Try the Podcast Player block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/podcast-player-block/

  Then, for the URL, use:

  https://anchor.fm/larry-schiffer/episodes/Seventh-Circuit-Reiterates-the-Great-Deference-Given-to-Arbitral-Awards-e16njav
