  I am trying out this theme which has 2 sidebars. Is there any way that I can move something from one sidebar into the other, please? (So as to try and ‘even-up’ the sidebars.)

  In Appearance>Widgets you get the contents of Sidebar 1 by default. You remove whatever widgets you want moved, click Save Changes, then select Sidebar 2 from the scrolldown, click “Show”, add them back, click Save Changes again.

  (Just in case you’re not aware of it: you can also change the widget order by dragging them into new positions.)
