andreas09 theme page bar behaviour

  Good afternoon…

  I’ve currently set my theme to andreas09 because I like the flexible width and sidebars on both sides.

  But my blog has both pages and posts and I’ve set my Front page to be a static page.

  With andreas09 this causes a couple problems I haven’t been able to resolve:
  1) There’s a Home in the link bar under the title that doesn’t really seem to support – if my front page is a top-level page I will have two home links in the link bar. I’ve worked around this by making my Home page a sub-page of my blog page

  2) The Home link is highlighted only when I click on my blog page link! None of the other page links ever highlight in the link bar under the title.

  Anyone have any idea how to work around these issues?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I changed my theme, but I’ll try to create a test blog to reproduce it (without any other clutter) and post that link up here.
