Animated Gif Files?

  Hi,

  Does WordPress support animated gif files? I try uploading one, it works on my dashboard, but when I publish or preview my post, it does not work on my blog. what happened?

  Oh… so sorry.

  Anyway, I was only testing on posting the animated gif and did not really publish it yet. I also figured it out that I have to click on the “file URL” before inserting the picture so that it will work when viewer click on the thumbnail to view the larger picture.

  So am I rite to say that animated gif will not work on thumbnail even if I click on “full size” under Alignment size?

  @keeveneo: Animated GIFs work in wp blogs. But you can’t resize them with the uploader: you must use a GIF resizer (to scale the file to the width allowed by the theme you’re using), then upload that version in full size.
