Animated Sidebar Widgets?

  Seeing that javascript is not allowed on WordPress, is an animated sidebar widget okay? I placed one on my sidebar and it worked: http://kowalkerjourney.com/ I trust this is alright.

  It’s fine. As long as there’s no scripting, flash or iframes. Looks like it’s a plain old animated gif.
