Animates Gifs…Sigh

  Ok, one of my web clients would like to add animated Gifs to his posts (From a personal level I really don’t know why as I think they a vile things!) but without getting into that…

  He can upload the Gif file succesfully, but it doesn’t seem to want to animate…

  Any ideas why?

  What’s the url of the blog in question, please? It’s my understanding animated gifs can be used in posts on wordpress.com blogs but not in text widgets or as avatars.

  Sorry, correction – can be used in text widgets.

  Yes I have read it cannot be used as Avatars etc, but this is simply uploading to the post.
