  It works in edit mode but not when I publish it, can anyone help please… Thanks x

  What kind of code is it? Javascript and flash, among other things, are stripped out here for security reasons.

  Did you re-size your gif?

  Resizing an animated GIF will disable the animation unless you are using GIF animation software to do the resizing on all the frames and then recompiling the animation at the new size.
