Anniversary date wrong…

  This isn’t a major issue, and maybe there’s something missing in my account, but I thought I might post it so the engineers could peek.

  I received a handy notification over the weekend that my blog had hit it’s 7 year anniversary. Wow! So I logged in to get nostalgic and noticed a bit of a mismatch…

  According to my math the anniversary is a year off. I’m pretty sure I didn’t register my account a year in advance, but maybe I did.

  Nothing huge, but maybe a math error the engineers need to look into?

  To locate the date of publication of your first post got to Dashboard > Posts > All Posts and use the All Dates drop-down feature.

  I did use the “all posts” feature and that’s how I found the May 2009 for my first post.

  However, I did register with a WP account before that in order to respond to blog posts and the like. I guess it is tracking that instead.

  Yes it appears our anniversary date is marked by the date on which we register our username accounts.
