Annoying 6th Birthday Survey Page

    Everytime someone clicks a link to my WordPress blog from within another WordPress blog they get this annoying 6th birthday survey page, which asks you to pick your prize and then asks you to sanction text messages to a premium number to be in with a chance.

    There is no skip survey page and won’t allow you use the back arrow in the browser.
    They (I hope it has nothing to do with wordpress) intimate it is a WordPress related site by using a WP Banner,
    what’s the answer??

    Unfortunately, a rather spammy survey company managed to register a domain that is very similar to WordPress.com, but off by one letter.

    If you mistype the WordPress.com potion of any blog URL, you could be redirected to the survey (or worse).

    We are currently in the process of legally acquiring this domain as well as a few other close domains.

    Until then, please make sure that your links are spelled correctly. For example, the link you posted above is spelled correctly and should go straight to the blog (not a spammy survey).
