Annoying Ads appear on some devices but not all devices

    I have been running wordpress, woocommerce and wospos for several years. Recently ads have started appearing. I am not sure which system they are coming from wordpress or woocommerce? Are they ads being placed by some other systems including chrome, safari or google.

    On my mobile and desktop I do not see them. Is that because popup blockers and ad removers are installed as part of Bytedefender?
    I understand I can upgrade to different subscription levels but I don’t know if this will solve the problem.

    I am confused about the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org is that part of the issue.

    It seems like you might be facing difficulties with a self-hosted WordPress.org website, and not with a WordPress.com-hosted one. WordPress.org is a free site-engine software, while WordPress.com is a web hosting company.
