Annoying expired domain name overlay

    Hello,

    I cancelled my domain name ages ago but it still gives me the annoying overlay regarding my expired domain even when using the .wordpress url.

    When will this cease being displayed? It’s really hampering me.

    Hi Jamie,

    When you visit your site beardsandaxes.wordpress.com, you should see the following options:

    If you click “Cancel this domain”, you will be taken through the steps to remove the domain from your account so you can proceed with your free WordPress.com domain. Can you give that a try?
