Is there a way to schedule a post to occur annually year after year on the same day???
Or should I just reschedule it for the next year when it posts this year???

Yes you can schedule blog posts to automatically publish themselves at any time in the future. This is the link to support documentation entry for scheduling publication of posts.

No you cannot set this up so it automatically happens every year without you setting the scheduling up each year yourself.
