anonymous blogging??

  I am a teacher and have a blog for my classroom. I would like to start a new blog – kind of a debt journey/finances type thing. Anyhow, I don’t want the two to be connected AT ALL. What a disaster for families in my classroom to follow my personal debt journey. Ick.

  So, if I use them both under the same log in, etc. is there anyway that they can be traced to one another? Is there a link on wordpress about other blogs by the same person? If someone does a search for me by name is there anyway that both blogs would pop up? Or e-mail?

  Just a bit paranoid and looking for advice.

  Register an entirely different account with a different email address and a different username. Do not put them under the same account.

  And do not link from one to the other. And do NOT tell anyone you know about the second one. Your supportive friends will blithely do things like post the link to their facebook page and say “here’s Suzie’s new blog! Isn’t it terrific?” etc. And then wham, you’re googleable.

  OK, I have created a new account for in order to transfer a blog over for this same purpose – to keep one anonymous and unsearchable by my other user information. However, I have tried 3 times now to “transfer blog” from my other account, and I have clicked the link on the verification email 3 times….and nothing. The blog in question still appears on my other account, and nothing is on this one.

  Yes, it will always appear on your first dashboard. But nobody else but you and staff can see that. The important question is, can you access it from the second account?

  And don’t post in forum threads like these using both accounts. People will figure it out.

  As for the second account, I suggest you log out, clear your cookies and try logging in from http://SecondBlog’sURL.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  That wasn’t actually me that posted the second time. Maybe someone else is having the same problem? Don’t know.

  In any case, I have logged out, cleared cache, and logged in again. Nothing doing. No blog shows up in my second account. Frustrating.

  Hi there. Yes, I’m having the same problem as sassilicious69. Sorry if I wasn’t clear in my earlier post. And I too have done as suggested, and the blog in question just does not seem to want to actually show up in my second account, no matter what I do. Any more ideas? Or should I be contacting support at this point? Thanks!
