anonymous posting

    Hi,

    I’m new to wordpress and have a questions. Is it possible to have a blog and allow anybody (readers and surfers) to anonymously post to the blog? For example, if I create a blog around the “sport news”, I would like to allow anyone to post to the blog anonymously about anything they heard of or have question about.

    a blog doesn’t exactly work like a forum. you can only allow comments from everybody. to do that go to dashboard -> options -> discussion

    under this section:
    Before a comment appears:

    * An administrator must always approve the comment
    * Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
    * Comment author must have a previously approved comment

    uncheck the 3 options.

    an alternative would be to encourage your readers to e-mail you and you could post it for them.
