Another blog has taken my post and published it on theirs

Another blogger has taken one of my posts and published it on theirs. I scrolled through their published posts in WP Reader and it seems they have published a huge amount in a very short space of time, some of which I recognise belong to other bloggers.
I have sent two messages to the blogger politely asking them to remove my posts, but they have been ignored. What can I do now to make sure the blogger removes my post from their site?

Can you let us know what the URL is of the site where you’re having this problem? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise. Thank you!
-
Yes of course.
I found my post on a website named “LIKE WORLD” amongst a huge number of other posts, most of which seem to belong to other bloggers.
My own site features dreamy romantic or erotic poetry and fiction and some personal accounts. In addition, each Tuesday I run a series on my own site called “SEX SELLS”, it is about how commercial advertisers have tried to sell their products. One of my posts from this series was posted on the site I mentioned above. I have sent two polite messages asking them to remove my post from their site, but they have been ignored. This is my post on their site:
-
They posted an excerpt and at the bottom they have a link to https://raspberryripples.wordpress.com/2021/01/26/sex-sells-22/
-
Are they allowed to do this?
It looks so strange to take other bloggers work and post without asking. And it’s not an isolated case. It looks as if they are sitting at a computer and doing it most of the day?

If you don’t want anybody else to link to your posts, best is to set your site to private.
It’s allowed to link from one site to another and to use an excerpt of the original site. -
And if you ask a blogger to remove your post from their site – are they allowed to just ignore your requests? Is there no way WordPress can intervene?

Hi there,
You can definitely reach out to the blogger and ask them if they would be willing to take down the post excerpt from their site.
In terms of our involvement, please read our page on Copyright infringement and Fair Use:
https://wordpress.com/support/fair-use/
Depending on how the owner is using your content, it very well may fall under fair use.
Thanks,

Thank you for the information.
So I have already asked the blogger twice to remove my post. I will send another request. If they do not remove my post, I understand from that post that there is a legal procedure to follow.
It sounds rather complicated. I have had a lot of other bloggers reach out to me and explain that for some reason some people set up a site and seem to do nothing except post content that other bloggers produced. I am amazed that this is allowed to be frank. Are they making financial gains from doing this? I do not make a penny from my own site, it has been a creative outlet for me during the pandemic. It feels uncomfortable that others would be able to use something I took the time to put together and make money out of it, if they are making money out of “clicks” on their site.
If it is a legal process I could ask our attorney to take a look over your guidelines.
Thank you for supplying them.

Never forget the golden rule:”everything you put on the internet can and will copied one way or another”.
Linking from one site to another using the excerpt is common use on the internet as it is considered fair use. -
-
Copyright laws do still apply: https://wordpress.com/support/copyright-infringement-what-to-do/
Though, fair use is also part of copyright law: https://wordpress.com/support/fair-use/
I recommend looking over both of those, consult a legal professional if you have any more questions, and if you feel you want to proceed, you can via https://automattic.com/dmca-notice/
Please understand that your claim will be fully reviewed by our legal staff, it is not an automatic removal.

Thank you for the clear explanation.
I have sent the blogger a third request asking them to remove my post. So far, they are still ignoring my request.
Now we know what to do in order to escalate this. I appreciate your assistance.
