Hi. I’ve been using the name Sky Diaries for years. I just discovered another (and I presumer younger) WordPress site called ‘the sky diaries’…is this a permitted overlap, or is the practice ‘first named is owner’? Thanks!

Is your site https://skydiaries.wordpress.com ? I’m afraid there are only so many words in the english language and as the Interweb continues to fill up there are many subtle variations of site addresses. Sometimes it is only the suffix .com, .org, .blog etc that is different. I guess someone could create a WordPress.com site called skydiary if they wanted. There is already skydiary.com. There is a Blogspot skydiaries site and perhaps more. Such as https://theskydiaries.wordpress.com/ which hasn’t been updated for 5 years so it shouldn’t have much google juice.
