Another boldface question
-
I usually boldface my articles but today I posted “How to Navigate This Blog” that I want to be lightfaced, including the title.
There’s no problem with the article itself, but the title, that looks fine in previews, keeps changing back to boldface on the page. I have unboldfaced and saved changes several times without success, so I’m consulting the experts again. TIA
-
I’m not expert, on how to design the title of blog posts but probably its just the way the theme is made. And, why are you so demanding, LOL, your article looks nice with normal font why does it have to be “lightfaced”, but I’m sure theres a way to do it, so I’ll do some looking up of boldface-ness tags that could possibly be used.
-
nevermind, I just think thats the styling that your stuck with in that theme due to the fact that its a sticky note.
-
I’m thinking that the title looks different because you have made it a sticky post, and it may be that your theme makes the titles of such posts bold. I haven’t used that feature, so I can’t be certain.

@buyathread: Truth is the title is a bit unsightly (gives the impression you’re shouting to idiots who cannot understand how to navigate your blog)…
My suggestion: leave the title box blank and transfer the title to the beginning of the main post text.
Here’s how I might do it (copy this in the html post editor and see if you like it):
<div style="border:1px solid black;padding:10px;"><strong>How to navigate this blog</strong></div> -
Alternative: remove the slash-div (along with its brackets) from there and paste it at the end of the post. That will create a frame around the whole post.

@ panaghiotisadam – I am still html-phobic but I like your suggestions so much better than what I have, that I have to try them. Worst case, I’ll have my unsightly title back so thanks again.

@ panaghiotisadam – It worked and now looks exactly like it should look, AND I’m less intimidated by the html mysteries.
<div style=”border:1px solid black;padding:10px;”>
THANK YOU VERY MUCH</div>
