Another Comments Not Working Thread

    When attempting to post comments all users are getting an error. When using wordpress reader we get a pop-up: “Could not add a reply to this post”

    And error under the comment with the option to resend:
    ” Sorry – there was a problem posting your comment.”

    If we try to post outside of wordpress, it gives a 403 Forbidden error in the comment field only.

    I’ve tried logging in with one of the social media accounts (jetpack), tried just email and tried no email. All do the same 403 Forbidden error. I’ve turned on and off the various settings on allowing posts without email and what not.

    After looking at trying to disable various plugins, AMP seems to be acting strange and also gave a 403 error in the console (before permanently disappearing). Disabling it doesn’t change anything with the comment errors, and because it’s part of jetpack I can’t seem to uninstall it.

    Is there something else I can try? Maybe it isn’t AMP at all? Thanks in advance.

    Hi there!

    I can see the error on your site. It might be due to a plugin conflict. Have you tried to temporarily disable all of them and activate each one by one?

    To make it easier, you can install Health Check. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
