Another level of protection against copies

Hello. I have a site (glock25.wordpress.com or glock25.com), and people are copying the contect I made for it. Sadly to say, I live in Brazil and nobody in the justice department cares about this.

So, I would like to suggest for future WordPress versions/updates, an option for security in the configuration menu.

1 – Give an option like “Disable External Hot Linking”.
With this, if someone is trying to, for instance, see a picture you have on your wordpress, WordPress would check: hey, are you in the page where the picture is? No? Then it´s hot linking… no image for you.

2 – Give an option like “No Selection/Copy is Permited”.
This way, if someone tries to select the text on your wordpress blog/site, It would not be possible, and, if someone tries to copy and image (like….right click, save as), it would not have this option available.

    That´s it.

    Thanks for listening.

  • Thank you for your suggestions, I’ll pass them on for consideration!

Please be aware that any form of copy prevention will not actually prevent a determined individual from copying the text right from the blog’s source code, or even its feed.
