another password protect blog

    I would like to have a public blog that is protected by a password. I then give that password to the people I want. Is this possible? None of your other privacy feature meet this requirement.

    You seem to be confusing what is “public” and what is “private”. The privacy options available are found here
    -> Dashboard -> Options -> Privacy
    Privacy Options
    Blog visibility: ____ I would like my blog to appear in search engines like Google and Sphere, and in public listings around WordPress.com.
    ____I would like to block search engines, but allow normal visitors
    ____I would like my blog to be visible only to users I choose
    Up to 35 users allowed to access blog. Want more?
