Another “Sidebar At Bottom” Issue

    I realize that you guys have probably heard about this issue from a lot of people, but my blog, <allgeektout.com>, has had the sidebar pushed down to the bottom of the site. It is like this in both Firefox 3 on a Mac and IE7 on a Windows, so I don’t think it’s a browser issue. I went through multiple topics before came here, but I’ve tried almost everything to try and fix it.

    1) I looked through the posts for bad code.
    2) I downsized all of my pictures.
    3) I did not paste from Word on ANY posts.

    Does anyone know why this is happening?

    I see that you have rather large images in your posts. I would like to suggest that you reduce the number of posts on your front page to only one and see if your problem is in the most recent post. If it isn’t your can see it to 2 and so on on, post by post until your find the post with the problem and correct it.

    Dashboard -> Settings -> Reading
    Scroll down to “Blog pages show at most” ____ change the number to 1 and click “Save Changes”

    My second suggestion is that you consider linking your wordpress.com username to your blog. It’s very easy to do. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard –> Users –> Your Profile. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ and fill in the address of your blog and then click ‘Update Profile‘.

    Once you’re done click “Update Profile”. Voila! Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.
