Another username not working

  I wanted to use another username/email address for my 2nd blog. I followed the instructions on the post shown below but I can’t delete the original username.
  Also, I received a Comment email under 3bdigitalart and when I went to approve it, I got a WordPress page saying I didn’t have the authority to approve the comment. I was signed in as 3bdigitalart. Help??

  No, that’s right. You can’t change your username. If you already have the second blog in your current username, you can add another account (which you have set up with a separate email address and with a different username) as an administrator. You won’t be able to delete your current username from it, though. Staff can do this for you if you send them a support note.

  I don’t understand why the Comment Approval email that I got under (email visible only to moderators and staff) won’t let me approve a comment on the 3B Digital Art blog though?
  And why are comments on the Assisted Living blog going to 3b address? What was the point of setting up a new account and new email then? I’m sorry, I don’t understand.

  Follow up…I was finally able to approve the comment. But I got a Comment notice at the 3b email address for BOTH the 3b account and the AssistedLiving account–?

  Alrighty! I went into the settings on the second blog and changed the email address, etc.
  Plus all other issues are resolved–I hope! Thank you for your time and reply!

  Although I would like to know–if the above is not allowed (as stated by rosclarke), then why is it posted as such in the WordPress blog? That’s inaccurate information. I’m sure other users would need to be aware of this.

  I have responded to you by email. I gave this blog to raincoaster long ago. I no longer have any access to it whatsoever. I have not been posted to for over a year and at the time I published the post in question the instructions were valid. They only recently became invalid when staff made a change.

  Support did change it over for me but one more problem……
  Whenever I click on the bookmarked link to my Dashboard, instead of getting My Dashboard I get a WordPress page that states:

  http://wordpress.com/signup/?new=assistedgbu

  How do I stop that page from coming up? When I’m signed into my other blog, the link takes me right to My Dashboard.
