Another Users Likes on Your Posts
-
Is it possible to keep another user from liking your posts? I know you can turn the like function off altogether, either for the entire blog, or individual posts, but can you block certain users? And is there any way to remove an unwanted “like” from one of your posts?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

No you cannot block users who click like buttons unless you disable the like button for all. Even doing that does not eliminate the fact that any logged in WordPress.com/Gravatar user can still click the like button on their Admin bar. No you cannot remove likes.

See here for the minimal control we do have > Turn Likes On/Off on Specific Posts or Pages

Thanks so much for replying. Disappointed with the answer, but happy to have one at least.

You’re welcome. Do be aware that though we cannot block or delete any subscribers from any public blog, or prevent their like button clicking except as outlined in the relevant support doc, we have complete control over comment moderation.

Yes, I am aware of complete comment control. But apparently bothersome parties know this too and therefore don’t leave comments, just likes.

I don’t consider the value of a like click to be anywhere near the value of a comment. In one of my blogging tips posts I provided and image of the number of opportunists or perhaps idiots who clicked the like button on a post without any content at all. http://onecoolsite.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/idioticlikebuttonclickers.png?w=584&h=212
