Any count down widgets I could use?

    Hello, I’m building a sports-related website with the wordpress platform.
    I needed a widget which could count down to an event but of the ones I could browse, none quite filled my needs completely.

    It has to be able to count down to an event, stop or display a different text for about an hour or two, and then count down to the next event. I have to be able to program all of these events before hand, going into my site and changing the count down manually every single time would become a real pain in the rear.
    Ideally it also can’t be flash cos that’d alienate everyone using an apple product. But if nothing other than a flash app will do, I’ll settle for that.
    Good and customizable looks are optional, though favoured.

    I wouldn’t mind paying some bucks for this, free is always welcome.

    So any help here?
