Any developments on the transferring of my old blog to a new blog?

I transferred one of my blogs (lightningarnis singapore) to another blog (LSAI-Singapore) using the Export and Import function. It has been 24 hours and I don’t seem to detect a change. The lightningarnis singapore is still in the old site and the new site has not reflected the changes yet.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The original blog was http://lightningarnis.wordpress.com/
I then created another blog and identified a new destination where I can transfer the original blog and hopefully upgrade it and allow other colleagues to access it.
The newly created blog is http://lsaisingapore.wordpress.com/
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

I was wondering if anyone has had previous experience transferring a blog from one wordpress.com account to another?
I started doing this ten days ago and thus far have seen that the new blog still has the “default” appearance. When I go to Tools/Import this is still the message that I get:
Import WordPress
Processing…We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated…

It looks like the import did fail to bring over any content for some reason. Can you give it another try following the instructions here?

The original blog that I use is: http://lightningarnis.wordpress.com/
And I wanted to transfer it to this new one: http://lsaisingapore.com/
Both sites are hosted in wordpress. The first one uses “free” domain, while the new one has its own domain.
I was just reviewing some of the forums and realised that it may be easier if I just transferred the original blog to the new one. Can I do this (transfer blog) instead of the export-import function? When I go to the Dashboard/My Blogs of the original site, the “transfer blog” option is no longer visible? Is it because I already initiated the export-import function?

Hi there,
It looks like you recently cancelled and refunded your domain registration for lsaisingapore.com. Are you going to try to register that domain elsewhere and setup a self-hosted site? To clear up any confusion, if you setup your domain on your WordPress.com blog (lsaisingapore.wordpress.com), I can transfer your subscribers from http://lightningarnis.wordpress.com/. You can also export/import your content.
Alternatively, if you would like, you can just register your domain (lsaisingapore.com) on lightningarnis.wordpress.com. This will replace lightningarnis.wordpress.com with your new domain, and all of your subscribers and content will still be in place.

Yes, after reviewing the forum discussion and responses, I realised that what would be easier was for me to create a new domain within my original blog and assign users (who would only be able to access one specific blog). I realised that this was the neater and easier way to go around my issue.
