Any feature to log changes/updates?

Hi. I was wondering if there’s a (free) feature that allows viewers of the site to find out whenever new pages are added and existing pages are modified? Something like the post feed, but that logs page additions/changes.

Since pages don’t produce an RSS feed, there’s no way to automate that.

Ah, that’s too bad. My wordpress site nearly completely makes use of pages: new ones and updating of old ones. It’s like a fan site/information center. Very rarely do I make new posts in comparison.

But as it is the case that these changes can’t be seen by site viewers, they have no way of knowing when changes are made, whether minor or major, unless I make a news post stating that. But the problem with that is, the updates vary in size and content and span several pages. It’s impractical to make new post updates each and every time I make changes, even when those changes are significant enough (because of the reasons stated).

I guess it’s time to make a feature request. I mean, the wordpress site owner is able to view a revision history of all of his pages and posts, right? I’m sure, then, that it is possible to implement something that creates a log, for readers, of which pages had been changed in a day.
