Any known issues with notifications via e-mail?

  E-mail notifications suddenly stopped—I didn’t change anything, tested my e-mail account (it works) and re-checked my notification settings in WordPress. Any ideas? (I still receive notifications via WordPress—just not per e-mail).

  If this issue has not been resolved, please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails, as well as, a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts. The software will redact them ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them.

  Sorry, I guess I didn’t express myself clearly enough: I meant to say I don’t receive e-mail notifications any more if someone posts a comment on my blog (e.g., comments from the username “filmschrott”). My username is “moviescape”. Thanks for helping out! :)

  Have you confirmed your settings?

  Start here please https://wordpress.com/me/notifications and make sure you have not blocked email on the bottom of that page.

  Then check here > http://moviescape.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-discussion.php

  E-mail me whenever
  _Anyone posts a comment
  _A comment is held for moderation
  _Someone likes one of my posts
  _Someone reblogs one of my posts
  _Someone follows my blog

  Hi there,

  I checked our records, and WordPress.com is sending you email notifications about new comments. Are you not receiving any comment notifications by email? In that case, please check your email’s spam/junk folder to see if the emails are ending up there, or contact your email provider for more help finding those emails.

  If you receive email notifications about some comments but not all of them, please give me links to some of the comments you don’t receive notifications for so I can investigate that.

  Nothing is in my spam folders and not all comments are affected. Here’s are some comments I didn’t receive e-mails for:

  Thank you! I tracked down what I think is preventing these notifications from being emailed to you — depending on how your readers leave comments, the email notification may not be sent. I reported this to our team so they can keep looking into it, and I will let you know when I get an update. :)
