Any plans for tracking unique visitors

  I tried to find current info in search. But are there any plans to have wp.com blogs track unique visitors. I’m surprised it’s not already supported. But I have to believe the smart people at WP are working on a way to get the WP.com users this info. Even if it’s a paid premium feature like domain mapping, it would be worth it.
