Any plans to allow Google Analytics for wordpress?

    Hi there,

    I have read up on several support questions and understand that Google Analytics can’t be hooked to wordpress at this time. The blog stats on my dashboard are very helpful, however as a business owner it would be extremely useful to view my blog stats in the same format as I use for my commercial website (it’s all part of my marketing strategy).

    I just wanted to know if there were any plans to enable the hooking up of WordPress blogs to Google Analytics in the future? If not, I may need to consider shifting my blog to a different platform that will support this.

    Hi first of all it would help to link your WordPress.com blog directly to your username rather than to your website. http://topcatblog.co.uk/

    Since WordPress.COM itself already uses Analytics on our blogs, users most likely won’t be able to. However, there does seem to be something in the works about improved stats https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/more-detailed-stats-option?replies=2

    Is there no other 3rd party stats program that can give you the info you need?
