Any possibility to make some extra income out of a strong blog website?

hello wordpress team, as i have noticed the past year there has been a massive increase in my blog and more and more visitors enter my page daily. Another Blog website approached me and has offered me to move my whole blog to their website. As they also mentioned advertising would take place through my blog which i will get a monthly income in return for offering my blog space so they can advertise. I was just wondering is there any possibility i could start making some money through word press ? anywhere i have to apply so i can have adverts on my blog and have a small income? thank you in advance

No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only blogs that can be equipped for ecommerce are those with the $299. per year business upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.

There are no restrictions if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities.Please see this guide to learn about the differences.
