  After you’ve linked your username to your blog, go visit WordPress.com blogs that have similar interest, like those found here. http://en.wordpress.com/tag/football/ Leave polite and on-topic comments about posts on those blogs (not spammy comments like “visit my blog!”). Once you are part of a community you’ll begin to see the number of visits to your own blog rise.
