The way to request a new theme is to provide a link to the one you like, provide your reasons for requesting and and submit it to staff during weekdays and during support hours using this link http://wordpress.com/contact-support/

@tt, I don’t think that the original post is a request for a new theme. I read it as a question about which themes already at wp.com might be suitable for a music blog. If I read the question right, then my answer is:
– I don’t think that there’s any theme here designed specifically for music blogs
– but there are themes with the custom header option, that allows you to provide the image in the header

Hi there. You’re right I have mis-interpreted. As there are no musical themes at wordpress.com musicmazza may wish to look for musically orientated themes here http://themes.wordpress.net/ and if he or she finds one that’s suitable then he/she could provide the link to staff and ask for it to be adapted for wordpress.com -
If the person wants a MUSIC entry, photos, links, I would suggest for the “black” themes like Sunborn, Redoable or Neo-Sapien or better yet, Unsleepable.
