Any video players that DO NOT generate an embed code?

    I want to put video on my blog that doesn’t give viewers an automatic embed code. My goal is to keep the video semi-private, viewable only if you visit my blog. I know if someone REALLY wants the video they can rip it, but the embed code makes it just too easy for people to put my video on their site (the automatic embed code also implies that sharing it is ok). Vimeo and the WordPress players both generate codes (although the original WordPress player did not, so it would be nice for them to give blog owners the option).

    I’m willing to pay a video hosting site for this feature. Any suggestions?

    Someone might have a specific recommendation, but failing that I would email the webmaster of a site that has videos without any links or embed codes offered and ask who they use, making clear you want to achieve the same, not “crack their code” so to speak. The worst they can do is ignore you or choose not to tell you.
