Any way to dig in to the Theme Files?

    Hi,

we’re planning to host a wordpress blog in wordpress.com and just point it in our nameserver but thing is, we might need to configure the list of themes you guys only offers. Are we allowed to do that in paid account? like messing things up with the theme files(html, php, css)? or just css alone?

We do not like to host it on our server because we want to leave the updating and the technical stuff in your side. What we do care is the UI requirements. Hence our concern.

    Kindly advice.

    Best,
    Ven

Nope, we can’t edit any of those files here.

The closest thing we can have is Custom CSS, which is part of the Custom Design upgrade. It’s basically a feature that gives us a single CSS file that will be loaded after the theme’s CSS files, so we can override/modify/add/remove things as far as can be done with CSS.

    Hi Hafizr,

Thanks for really fast response. Noted on that. So i guess we just need to adjust in UI requirements, then.

    Have a great day!

    Best,
    Ven
