Any way to get the Confit theme to work in Internet Explorer?

Hi, our blog uses the Confit theme and although we know that WordPress works best with Mozilla and Chrome, a lot of our constituents use Internet Explorer, which means that they are having a very hard time reading our posts because on their browser it is just text on the background image. Please advise if there’s any way to correct this on our end or if there are other free themes that may fair better with Internet Explorer. Thank you!

Exactly which version on Internet Explorer are you referring to please?
WordPress.com supports all browsers and versions found here http://browsehappy.com

Internet Explorer 8 is the latest version supported on Windows 7. IE10 is reserved to Windows 8. That means that a majority of Windows 7 users are on Internet Explorer 8, that’s not a market to ignore (even so I am not using IE myself).
