Any way to go manual/force a trackback on your own blog?

  I’ve noticed many times through incoming links that several of my posts have been linked to or referred to in other people’s blogs/websites. I haven’t been getting trackbacks for any of them. Is there a way to manually force a trackback (essentially input it myself), short of writing out a comment on my own and saying “so and so article links to this post” (v. obnoxious)?

  I do have “Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)” checked.

  No, there isn’t.
  You could add those – no problem there.

  But do be really really sure that they are not spam blogs – if you aren’t sure if it’s a spam domain just ask :)
